Introduction
The Chepang Hill Trek is a newly opened, untouched trekking route in Chitwan, passing through the Chepang Village. This area is 86 km away from Kathmandu. The Chepang Hill Trek offers a unique blend of cultural, sightseeing experience and distinct lifestyle of the Chepang. Chepangs language, leading a roaming life and their lifestyle makes them very different and unique. They go hunting, digging for wild root, fishing and established farming near wildernesses for their livelihood. Their settlements, house construction, social organization, language, customs, festivals, and religion are unique.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Once you arrive in Kathmandu at Tribhuvan International Airport,
our representative staff will escort you to the hotel and overnight hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu to Hungdi to Jayapuri- (985 m)
We will travel by bus from Kathmandu. It is 86 km and takes 2 to 3 hours. We will be staying at a homestay and community-managed guest house and local village sightseeing.
Day 3: Trek to Hattibang and Seraichuli (1945 m)
We will be trekking to Seraichuli which will take more or less 4 to 5 hours. Offers the best countryside of the surrounding mountains & reach of Chepang, Magar and Giripuri Hattibant. Rest 1 hour, take something food and go to Seraichuli( Highest Mountain of Chitwan District), for view includes a wide range of Himalayan peaks such as Rolwaling, Gaurishankar, Langtang, Himalchuli, Manaslu, Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, and the Chitwan National Park in the Terai and sunset. Come back Hattibang, See local culture program and overnight at homestay or community-managed guest house.
Day 4: Trek to Jyandala (1610 m)
It takes more or less 5 /6 hours to reach Jyandala. One the way we can witness amazing views of the mountains and magnificent sunrise and sunset views. We can observe a magnificent view that comprises of a wide range of Himalayan peaks such as Rolwaling, Gaurishankar, Langtang, Himalchuli, Manaslu, Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri along with the Chitwan National Park in the Terai. Overnight at Chepang village.
Day 5: Trek to Upperdangadhi (1278 m)
Trekking to Upperdanghadi takes more or less 5/6 hours. Walking through the popular bird-watching site. Here are More than 255 varieties of birds. The thick jungle in this region is also home to many wild animals and birds too. This place also offers a stunning mountain vista. Overnight in Upperdangadhi.
Day 6: Trek to Shaktikhor (401 m)
We will complete our trek in Shaktikhor after 5/6 hours of trekking. We will have a cultural experience with different Ethnic Groups Home-stay experience, and Cultural shows. We can explore the Chepang Museum and tourist information center, Caves and waterfalls approximately Shaktikhor. From here we can explore Chitwan National Park.
Day 7: Shaktikhor to Chitwan National Park
After breakfast, we move from Shaktikhor to Chitwan National Park which is one hour’s drive and see the jungle guide in the bus station. As we proceed to the camp/resort, we are welcomed by drinks and an introductory talk by the program manager. After the lunch is served we take a little rest and then tour around Tharu (Chitwan’s an indigenous tribe) village, dinner and good night.
Day 8: Jungle Safari in Chitwan National Park
Wake up with bed tea, Refresh, Breakfast, Ready for canoeing, Jungle walk with a nature guide and return to camp. Take lunch and rest for some time. Then we get ready for an elephant safari inside the park and we return to camp in the sunset. In the evening time join with cultural program performed by Tharu youngsters (Famous Tharu Stick Dancer) after program return to the hotel, take dinner and good night.
Day 9: Chitwan to Kathmandu
Wake up with bed tea, Refresh and ready to go for bird watching tour (this tour must be made at the time birds awake and head for food just before sun dawn), return to camp take heavy breakfast – time to say goodbye to the staffs, proceed to the bus, bus starts late morning from Chitwan to Kathmandu. After refreshment ready to visit Swyambhunath Stupa ( Money Temple) and Patan Durbar Squar UNESCO Tour. Return to hotel and ready for farewell dinner in typical nepali restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Departure to your next destination.
