Despite the rainy season I was lucky to get a view of the mountains and I started to enjoy the knowledge of Prakash who could point out the different mountains and gave me some explanation.
On our way down (my first visit to Nepal) we had to stop several. Times because I wanted to get out of the car to see rice fields and just the nature. This was never a problem and Prakash an me also walked for a while and the driver picked us up later own.
We arrived early in Bhaktapur so I was also able to witness the temple chanting in the morning. Prakash guided me trough the area answering all my questions and took really good care!
Two last things:
First... Traveling as single women I want to emphazise that I felt the whole time safe and secure with Prakash and the driver.
Second... Try to get some more sleep beforee the tour than I did... I think I missed a few views on the way back because I was falling asleep (which actually also indicates for the quality of the driver...)

We did the Kathmandu Valley UNESCO world heritage sites tour; the Nagarkot Sunrise and Himalaya Views and Bhaktapur Durbar Square UNESCO world heritage site tour; and the Chandragiri Hill and Swyambhunath Stupa tour. We also added an additional tour of the Narayanhiti Palace and the Kathmandu Durbar Square. The company was very flexible on changes to the itinerary. Our driver Mr. Bhim was on time and drove us around very safely in a comfortable car. We are planning a trip to Pokhara and the Chitwan National Park next year with the same agency. Me and my 2 other friends did Kathmandu Valley UNESCO World Heritage Sites Tour with Attractive Travels and Tours. He is really knowledgeable, experience and fluent English speaking person we found in Kathmandu. We visited Swyambhunath Stupa or monkey temple on the top of mountain. This place is really nice to observe beautiful Kathmandu Valley and mountains views. Then we visited Patan Durbar Sauare, which is another city inside Kathmandu Valley also known as city of fine arts. This place is really famous for beautiful temples, royal palace, museum, golden temple and healing bowl demonstration and selling centre. Then we went to Pashupatinath Temple, also famouse for colorful Holi people's also known as sadhus in Hindu religion, also famouse for Hindu open creamation ceremony, beautiful Pashupatinath Shiva Temple, Shiva lingam and many more. Finally we visited Boudhanath Stupa, biggest Buddhist temple in Nepal and second biggest Buddhist temple in Asia. Here we visited future Buddha's monastery, Tamang monastery, 1000 Buddha's monastery, traditional painting school for cotton clothes Thanks painting. Prakash practice us to say Buddhist Mantra it enchantment OM MANE PADHME HUM.... So we are planning after few years another trip with Prakash and his company for Chepang Hill Trek and Pokhara Tour. Both parts of the trip are memorable and enjoyable; at the time of the sunrise visit, the temp was 7C, but that didn't seem to deter the groups at all.... read more The sunrise location is a short drive away from Kathmandu and your treated to a view of the hills around the city, and of you've a good seat in your vehicle you could catch some nice views of the terraced hillsides on your way to Bhaktapur. Prakash pointed out the different mountains in the distance, and also answered any questions I had while we were waiting for the sun to make its appearance.
Prakash was in his element during the second part of the journey to Bhaktapur (the entry ticket is 1500 NPR, apprx $11 USD. If you think you'll be returning to this area the following day, ask your guide to inform the ticket counter- all you'll need is your passport no). He's very knowledgeable about the different temples and sites throughout the Patan area, along with sharing the history behind temples and monasteries we stopped at.
If you've a few hours to spare, this tour - and Prakash as your guide - is definitely the one for you. Bonus - at the sunrise location, there's tea coffee, and some snacks available to help you out. Side note, a public toilet is not available at the sunrise location, but one can be found about a 5 minute drive away.
