Annapurna Base Camp Trek is an incredible adventurous trekking package that offers a great introduction to the Himalayas living and remote Nepal settlements. The trek is a wonderful hike through diverse landscapes and distinct culture full of spectacular scenes of mountain vistas, Blue alpine, and Rhododendron forests. The trekking route has been considered as the best route in the world. It combines a wide variety of climate zones from 600 meters to 5,416 meters at Thorong La Pass. The trail offers you to explore the cultural group of Hindus at the low foothills to the Tibetan culture in Manang valley and Lower Mustang.

The trekking trail crosses two river valleys and encircles the Annapurna Massif. The path takes you to the elevation of 5,416 meters at Thorong La Pass which touches the Tibetan plateau. The pass is a gateway to the Mustang district from Manang. The snow-capped peaks seen from ANNAPURNA Trekking routes are Annapurna Massif, Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Manaslu (8,163 m), Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, Pisang Peak, Tilicho peak and Paungda Danda (1,500 m).

The trek begins from Nayapulthrough the Marsyangdi River Valley and brings to a close in the Kali Gandaki Gorge. The trail continues through the small settlements, Passes, Rivers, and forests to reach Thorong La Pass through the rocky and snowy path. You can have a natural hot spring bath at Jhinu. The trek obviously will make you believe that you are in one of the most distinctive and challenging journeys in the world.

How difficult is Annapurna Base Camp trek?

The difficulty level to Annapurna Base Camp trekking is moderately easy although, the trail offers you a narrow and challenging rocky path and takes you the altitude above 5,000 meters. You will experience the heart freezing cold and heavy wind blowing. But, don’t worry we have experienced and well-trained guide to help you and who suggest you how to remain safe in such difficulties. The prior experience of mountain climbing and trekking is not needed but basically you should have good physical fitness. Altitude sickness may be a problem for beginners.

When is the best time to Trek ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP?

The best season to trek around Annapurna Circuit is from late February to May and September to November. In summer it would be a little bit difficult as the area experiences heavy rainfall which will make our path sloppy and muddy.


Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival

Our team will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to the luxurious hotel and stay overnight there. We will offer you a typical Nepali dinner.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley and trek preparation.

We will guide you to visit several beautiful places in Kathmandu Valley. You can visit Durbar square, museum, and some World Heritage Sites like Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddha, and Shoyambhunath Stupas. We will assist you in preparing legal documents essential for trekking permits.

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara (220 km)

We will descend to Pokhara through a luxurious bus along the bank of the beautiful Trishuli River. We will stay in hotel at Lakeside of Pokhara.

Day 4: Drive to Nayapul then trek to Ulleri (1,960 m)

We will have an hour’s drive to reach Nayapul which is 50 km north from Pokhara. Then we start our walking trail to Ulleri. Our trail goes through beautiful riverside village and cross a stream then suspension bridge to reach Magar settlements in Ulleri.

Day 5: Trek to Ghorepani (2,800 m)

We will trek for 6 hours through the green landscapes of farming and cross some local villages to reach Ghorepani. We stay at lodge in Ghorepani.

Day 6: Trek to Poon Hill (3,210 m) then Tadapani (2,600 m)

We will climb upward to reach Poon Hill. From the Hill, we can see the 360-degree view of snow-capped peaks such as Dhaulagiri (8,172 m), Annapurna (8,019 m), Machhapuchhre (6,997 m) and Manaslu (8,516) around us. Then we climb down to Tadapani and stay overnight there in a hotel.

Day 7: Trek to Chhomrong (2,200 m)

We will walk through the forest and farmland before we reach the suspension bridge over the Kimrong River. After some hours of walking, we will reach Chhomorong village where we can see a beautiful way of farming.

Day 8: Trek to Dovan (2,920 m)

Today we will descend through the stone staircase to Chhomrong Khola. Then we start climbing through the Rhododendron forests to reach Dovan.

Day 9: Dovan to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m)

We start our trail toward ABC. The view of Annapurna Sanctuary appears as the route approaches a point. We will visit the Cave and walk through the avalanche tracks to reach the beautiful village Deurali (3,140 m). We will capture the beautiful scenery of Himalayas and stay overnight at the lodge.

Day 10: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2,310 m)

We will trek 6 hours to reach Bamboo. We can see and listen to the Glacier grinding below us. We will have launch at Deurali and continue our trail to reach Bamboo and stay overnight at a lodge.

Day 11: Trek to Jhinu Danda (1,780 m)

We will back to Kuldi and cross the Rhododendron forest before we reach Sinwa. We can have a hot spring bath at Jhinu Danda.

Day 12: Trek to Kyumi (1,220 m) and drive back to Pokhara (820 m)

Today we will trek to Kyumi for 3 hours and drive back to Pokhara and relax at a luxurious hotel in the beautiful city.

Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu:

We will fly back to Kathmandu after a successful journey to Annapurna Base Camp.

Day 14: Departure Day

We will leave you at Tribhuvan International Airport and you can go back to your hometown.
